A message from Craig Lowery, our Operations Director:
Just a quick update from yesterday. The guidance from the government is now available and we are making our way through it.
Given the amount of work to do it is not practical for us to have everything in place to ensure we open on July 4th.
The list is large but some of the things we are working on- table arrangements, ordering process, booking process, outdoor seating, means range. risk assessments, staff return and training, deep cleaning, social distancing signage, one way systems, PPE and more.
Throughout this pandemic the safety of our staff, customers and suppliers is of primary importance. Therefore ; we want to ensure we have everything in place and meet all guidelines and laws instead of simply chasing the July 4th date.
We will, of course, keep you updated on here. When we do open, we will with the confidence that we have everything in place to ensure you are all as safe as possible.
According to the guidance Some of the “new” normal may well include-
Only 2 families can sit together indoors.
Maximum of 6 people outdoors.
All food and drinks to be table service
All food and drinks preferably ordered through an App, ideally not in person
Kitchen staff to be socially distant where possible
No entertainment (this may well include background music and live sports broadcasts.)
Despite the above, we are confident that we can overcome these obstacles and deliver great food, drinks and service although no doubt, in a different way. We can’t wait to see you all.
