Exciting news in the Osprey world, with the developments at Whitehaven’s former bus station making great progress since the lockdown. There’ll be a new food and drink outlet (to be named ‘The Peddler’) under Osprey management, plus a range of facilities for creative and digital business startups upstairs. The project is funded by Sellafield Ltd and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, being delivered by Britain’s Energy Coast and is planned to open in 2021.
Osprey’s Ops Director Craig Lowery says: “Whether you’re getting off a train in Whitehaven and want to grab a coffee to go, shopping in town and want somewhere to go for lunch, or are looking for somewhere for an evening meal, The Peddler will cater for all”.
